FFL Volunteers Enriching the Lives of Seniors at Life's Garden
We’re an eclectic team of volunteers living throughout Silicon Valley, drawn together by a common interest in enriching the lives of the approximately 250 seniors at Life’s Garden in Sunnyvale, CA. We enjoy one another’s company and have fun as we plan and host a social event for them every other month. It’s a small investment of time for the joy it brings them…and us. We invite you to explore our website, learn about Friends for Life, and consider how you might help further our mission.

“Everything is arranged in order here. People seem warm, friendly,” said 91-year-old Jane (center), who moved to Life’s Garden in 2020 or 2021 to live closer to her only daughter, Dorothy (right), who is on the FFL Leadership Team. FFL volunteer Michelle is at left.
“Everybody is good to each other and me. Thanks for your service to everyone,” said Jane, who immigrated from Shanghai 30 or 40 years ago.

“If you’re willing to volunteer, everything comes your way,” says Ellie, a resident of Life’s Garden since August 2014.
